Eagle Restorations Group, Inc. specializes in the restoration and seismic repair and upgrading of historic buildings. Eagle was incorporated in 1991, and has completed over 50 projects, ranging in value up to 3 million dollars. Eagle emphasizes a high level of craft and restoration knowledge in all aspects of its work, and routinely works to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
The Work
Eagle approached COGNAK for a logo redesign in early 2018, the original not having been touched since the early 1990s. The ask was fairly simple: modernize the logo, and apply a background. What evolved was a sharp reclassification of iconography, with a new style and depth from flat layers. The font is a stunning throwback featuring familiar, yet fresh, modern notes. The entire icon—logo and font—now feels both striking and simple.
