About the client
Somernova is a 300,000 sq ft creative and innovation campus in Somerville’s Union Square, Boston. The space is built to generate new ideas, spark collaboration, and support the kind of companies that thrive when surrounded by other builders.
The work
Somernova approached COGNAK in late 2019 for a simultaneous rebrand and full custom WordPress site build on an accelerated timeline. COGNAK developed the brand identity and site together — drawing on the campus’s industrial character to create a bold, playful logomark and color palette that matched the energy of the place.
